isnt there a fifa rule that a player can only play for 2 clubs in a year? Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubsc belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Equally, the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as to the minimum length of a contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected.

I`m happy for Vitória Guimarães. This will erase their debt and will help them to become more solid. 2 years ago they finished 3rd, and had the chance to play the Champions league playoff. It was 0-0 against Basel in Portugal, then this is what happened in Switzerland:
It was a 7 million euros robbery in the last minutes.

Watched a few YouTube clips of him. Looks decent I suppose. Seems quick and very strong, good first touch and a decent crosser of the ball. Of course, you can't really cast any judgements on if Fergie will make him a star based on a few videos of him playing in Portugal's lower leagues, but, if anybody can groom him into something special it's Fergie. We'll see.
Now, onto something unrelated. If Man Utd don't have money to spend then how come they can afford to spend £7,000,000+ on an unknown? Is Fergie genuniely happy with his team and wanting to bring youngsters in? I don't get it. If there were money worries how come The Glazer's are allowing him to take a risk on a young Portugese lad? Mental times.

Fergie keeps saying he's only not buying people because he doesn't think anyone represents good value for money at the moment. Also that the Glazers have never told him he can't buy a player - maybe he's telling the truth?

No matter how much trouble (well to an extent obviously) the Glazers are in, there will always be money for a major transfer or two at Manchester United.

surprised that macheda is going out on loan. the dani pacheco of the united squad tbh. ;D thought he'd get more action last season. but fergie played a 4-5-1 for the first time in his fucking life pretty much. and sure enough they only won the league cup. the italian national team could do with him coming thru. in a reet state.

Clubs from different countries get different amounts of money based on tv money UEFA gets on different markets. Porto won it in 2004 and got about the same the english clubs get just for being there. So fair isn`t it? UEFA hates you, you know?

Was surprised to see £7,000,000 risked on this Bebe, that's all. Though tbf they've also spent money on Smalling & Hernandez.
