This feud has nothing to do with you, not even with me. It's bigger than us, you know.

After.Life - 2009 "A young woman caught between life and death... and a funeral director who appears to have the gift of transitioning the dead, but might just be intent on burying her alive." Well, what can I say? Christina Ricci is naked throughout 1/3 of the movie.. Now, there are times she can look downright ghastly, but she has an absolutely smoking body in this movie. Her acting was actually decent too, I think... Dunno, I was staring at her breasts most of the time. However, I get the feeling the director had no idea where he/she wanted to go with this movie. It's just so blatantly obvious what is happening that you almost begin to think there must be some kind of twist. The thing is, the movie tries to come off like there is some kind of twist, but it never delivers. I'm not ruining anything because you'd have to be Dave Orchard to not see what is coming at the end. Liam Neeson kind of phoned his role in too, but I was still entertained by his character. 7/10 (Would be 5/10 without Christina Ricci's tits/stomach/ass/legs)

Twilight: Eclipse 6/10 I enjoyed this one it was still silly and very cliched, but it was so much better than the last one and the way they did the werewolves was rather cool. That Pattinson fucker gets on my nerves and hes on screen a bit too much, but if you're forced into watching it, its not half bad. Some good action pieces and I like the flashbacks to the vampires' stories.

I thought this was the rate the last film you saw thread? Well the forum members picture thread is no more than 25% of actual forum members pictures, so what

When a forum member posts who makes a bit of effort with their reviews in this thread (say karl, jan, ana, baz, and findy off the top of my head) i read their review then find i don't really need a number tacked on the end, as they've clearly said it all in the text. Not that i'm saying everyone shouldn't bother with numbers and write lengthy reviews, but they're the ones that get my attention loike and make me interested tbh. That's why i don't think Ana needs to wrap it up in a neat bow with a number sellotaped at the bottom. It's all there in the review. I'M STILL BEING A RATEY CUNT ON RYM, MIND Different universe there though, innit

Hey dave, are you also thinking about how you'll be able to work as a high school teacher? My high school Spanish teacher was banging one of his students in my year. Everyone fucking knew it too, but nothing was ever done.. He ended up marrying her actually, so I guess that makes it ok? I'm gonna be fucked though. All it's going to take is a low cut top and a nice pair of breasts and my eyes are gonna wander and I'm gonna get canned for being a paedo. Good times.

I now wanna see this, as Dave wrote a few words about it Plus Christina Ricci is in it

Btw, wasn't the original film thread on the first Soapy titled 'rate or review the last film/TV show you watched'? Just sayin'.

Btw, wasn't the original film thread on the first Soapy titled 'rate or review the last film/TV show you watched'? Just sayin'. Yup But tbf the "rate" bit covers that too, i think. Rate to me is text or numbers or a boring bloke going on about last week's Eastenders at work Though for a period about 2 years ago i did start rating my sandwiches to the person to my left TWIST - I worked alone

Well, if you wanted ratings that made actual sense, according to major film magazines and blogs, we should all be usingthe method with the 5 stars... so up your face, Spanish boy.

I'll leave it here. It's great to have your own opinions, innit! Anyway, i wasn't trying to argue with you Barnoid, just found it a bit silly that you feel the need to have a number on every review. Like it makes the review any more worthwhile or understandable.

When I rate movies, I don't really base the ratings off of other movies I have seen... Like, I would give Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid about a 9.5/10, and I'd give the 'Burbs a 10/10. Does that mean the Burbs is a better movie in my mind? No. I just enjoy it on a different level.

Well, if you wanted ratings that made actual sense, according to major film magazines and blogs, we should all be using Rabo's method with the 5 stars... so up your face, Spanish boy. i remember being one of the people who HATED it when Karl dropped the numbers and tried out stars a year or so back, yet these days i much prefer them. You don't get all that 7.54354 bollocks that means nothing. ITS A 7 OR 8 FFS
