been listening to pretty much nothing but blacks in 2012 so far and loving it. always been into hip hop but really fucking feeling it right now.
anyone got any recommendations of stuff i should be checking out? obviously i know most of the classics so im talking about slightly less well known stuff or stuff from the last couple of years where ive been out of the loop a bit.
obviously been listening to shitloads of bronson and odd future. also downloaded lps recently from ghostface, diamond district, asap rocky, kendrick lamar, drake, mr lif, blackalicious, dalek, t.i, clipse, mellowhype
also really enjoyed the jcole album from last year which i didnt see many people mention on here. as far as mainstream hip hop goes it was great and reminded me of kanye in places. the song with skylar grey is fucking honking mind you

One album I always go back to is Edan's 'Beauty And The Beat' I can't remember who it was on here who turned me on to it, but I love it.
You can never go wrong with a bit of DJ Format either. Scroobious Pip's latest solo album is great too.
