I forgot about this thread, I think this may of been the turning point which saw JP's music taste go in a downward spiral resulting in him going to see whats left of the Inspiral carpets or even worse, enjoying the enemy live. I'm sorry brother I did nothing but mock you for listening to 79 different bands which all sounded like poor versions of the pains of being pure at heart, I didn't think it'd have such an impact on you I didn't mean what I said about Wavves and vivian girls

JP lost all my respect when I saw him rating the last Vivian Girls record with 4 stars and a half, then not putting it on his end of the year list... That could well be the reason why I didn't bother with collecting everyone's list, nothing made sense anymore.

haha my end of year list last year was so half arsed. i wasnt really listening to much music at the time and was instead spending my time on the terraces watching young men kick a pigs bladder about.
this years will be much more considered, i promise barny xx

He means he left the Vivian girls off cos he realised it was even janker than their first two records.

Sorry Jan, gotta agree with Karl and Barn's above posts I mean I was buying the Vivivan Girls until I saw them live. And then there was the whole Brother thing. What ever happened to Longview?

The Rifles have obtained the rights to No Love Lost. Fuck knows who had them but they only ever released 250 copies (of which I have one) and it's not even on I Tunes. I'd expect to tour and play the album live in full next year. In other news the Boogaloo ticket have sold out for another year without me realising they were onsale

What happened in the first place? Did they lose the rights due to the original members or something?

There were far more than 250 copies made.
Either way I'm sticking mine on eBay before they have a chance to release it again
