Well, it's still plodding dirge, just like all of his new stuff has been, but it's got a banjo.. So I guess that's something....
I'm beginning to think he hyped up that album with AA just so when this album gets called "the most boring album of all time" he has a fallback plan.

The voice should have been more "natural" though, too much reverb and it's too bassy, if that makes sense. But i like it, nice little tune. It's weirdly cut towards the end as well, which makes me think it was recorded in 30 minutes. |
