I love it. I didn't think Noel would pull it off.. I really like the Beady Eye record, but I think this is better overall.
Although we really shouldn't have to compare the two tbh.

Had my first listen to the record this morning. Record Machine & the final three tracks did nothing for me. Stop the clocks really is shit, it just goes nowhere & is dull. The rest was decen/pretty good. I really liked Dream On & Jesus Freaks, top tunes.
Can't remember much about Broken Arrow & The Wrong Beach, didn't really stand out but first listen was overall it was better than I expected. Just felt like a continuation of Noel's tunes from Dig Out Your Soul to me yet with nothing as good as Noel's best songs on that record.

BA and SOTWB were the weakest for me on first listen (along with IIHAG) but BA has especially grown on me. Can't believe you don't like STC though!  |
