Alone On The Rope would have been perfect at track 8. Wrong Beach I'm starting to like despite dissing it intially. Still don't quite get the hype with Broken Arrow, nice music but the vocals kill it a little, seems to drift. Dream On is brilliant ;D yeah Wrong Beach sounded like it was of nowhere at first but it's a great song. just different from those big songs Noel writes. and that chorus sounds like he's fucking mad. which we dont hear quite a lot. there why I dont get it about Broken Arrow either. sounds like something like Side from the Invisible Band? which I used to love big time and still rate. but I'd have left it out for one of the other songs we heard from the High Flying Birds. |

Only song I don't like as much is Everybody's on the run cos of them shitty SOTSOG style chorus, just murder. For real?  It's a stunning track. Plus anything that is compared to the SOTSOG era can only be a compliment. exactly  |

'A Simple Game Of Genius' and 'Alone On The Rope' should have been added to the album- tracks 11 and 12 respectively. That is how I have them arranged in my iTunes now.  Do you have decent rips of those? They're not available on iTunes. It's abit shit that 'A Simple Game Of Genius' is only available if you buy the album from iTunes, I bought the CD/DVD version ffs! |
