We view this as entertainment but at the end of the day this is the break up of a family played out in front of the media. I feel sorry for Peggy, she's convinced they'll make up and for her and her alone I hope they do, even I'd the band never play another note together, it must be horrible for her as a mother to see how this is playing out.

I actually feel sorry for Liam, Sara has baited him here and he's taken it hook, line and sinker and Noel has now taken the moral high ground yet still come off looking like a wanker.

Liam could have easily insulted Sara on Twitter (public) but didn't.

We don’t know Liam’s relationship with Anais. They could be semi-close, and regularly exchange that kind of blunt, matey chat. But then again, if she’s chosen to share it with Noel, she obviously thought it was creepy. It doesn’t look good for Liam. At least he’s apologised.

Noel does seem to get a perverse kick out of all this. He knows he ended the band, he knows Liam is desperate to see him again. But he won’t. He clearly enjoys holding that power.

I’m frankly not arsed if Oasis never reform. It would probably be better for their legacy if they didn’t. But I do genuinely hope this Gallagher family soap opera played out on social media comes to an end. The problem is, both sets of Gallagher children are of an age where they want media careers of their own. Making snide remarks about their famous uncles is one sure fire way of getting papers to write about you.

I genuinely don't think Liam's message was a threat, although obviously it looked like that once shown in the public eye. The apologies seem quite sincere and they've done worse in the past, so I'm not sure it's such a huge deal.

A bit off-topic but I'd be more excited for a new Oasis record than for a live reunion, but I'm not complaining if it never happens.

It's quite obvious that Noel is a jealous, manipulative worm of a man. I don't want to see an Oasis reunion. There's nobody more dislikeable in the music business and that's including his bum chum Bono. He is what is called a scab.

I feel like team BDI's legacy has continued to grow. Once ridiculed in the dark times of 2011, nobody believed our mission statement, that Dwayne was a total cunt.
