Going to see the film in cinema on Wednesday; looking forward to it.
It's a "Gold Class" session, so fancy seats, food and drink brought to you, etc. Apart from wife and I, I can see that here are only two other seats taken - two single seats, not together. I'm expecting two middle aged dudes like me. Maybe some new friends?

It sounds utter shit. There is a reason these tapes were kept locked up. And I’m not talking about the stabby Welsh guy! I thought Live Forever sounded bad but SMS was good. Just back from the movie - there were 3 other people in the theatre with us; 1 single guy and a boy/girl couple - so 5 people in the whole place. |

I always thought the knebworth shows sounded shit. I always wanted to believe it as Oasis at it's best .... kind of like when everybody was wanking over Stop The Clocks review before we finally heard it and that was turd as well.

There's no way a gig as big as Knebworth could ever sound "good". When you play in a venue that is as big as Luxembourg on a stage as large as an oil platform, you are going to sound shit, there's no way around it. Oasis at their best is probably some forgotten gig somewhere the US in 1994 in a small Bar & Grill with 150 people watching, most of whom thought Oasis was a soft drink.

If they were going to release a live show from that era, it had to be maine road. It's mildly amusing that Noel is going on about knebworth being Liam at his apex...he sounds atrocious on that some might say. Like he's on helium.

Watched the documentary on sky last night
The sound was incredible and came straight out of my standard tv speakers.
No idea why the sound on these video clips is terrible
