  this is getting a right kicking on the likes of RYM (http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/coldplay/mylo_xyloto/), but I gotta admit, I didn't mind it. The out and out poppy sound quite suits them, and although it's clearly no Parachutes or even Viva La Vida (I still really like that record, and was very surprised at how strong it was), it's certainly not as bad as you'd imagine, going by the feedback Least it's another kind of vague stab at making themselves a bit more interesting. It's not the bland, tired ballad-a-rama of X&Y anyway, which is nice 3 STARS |

That paradise tune is atrocious. I didn't mind the last album but won't be bothering with this as theres a 1001 things I'd rather hear than the new Coldplay record.
