I'd imagine we'll be going to the pub down the side of the venue beforehand, so maybe see you in there Jimmy, for a swift four? The last time I was there seeing a gig at the Apollo, I bumped into legendary forum member Mr.David outside on a bench, so to meet a disciple of both Team Noel and Team BDI from the soapy at the exact same venue would be a wonderful occasion.

There aren't many pubs around there at all, there was one on ardwick green but its boarded up I forget it's name but if you walk past the Apollo doors coming from town it's right next to it, by a fenced off car park

It's called The Apsley Cottage, virtually a ten second walk from the entrance of the Apollo down the right hand side of it. I don't really know any other pubs around there tbh. Oyster Bar is a great (plus cheap) pub near Victoria station in the city centre and will guarantee a lively crowd, or I'd recommend Castle Hotel near Piccadilly station if you're wanting a worthy jukebox.
