That toilet scene anyway. I like the Mike death, it was vicarious, to some extent. Sometimes it seems they try to tie the knots together, others it seems they don't care about it. Most of the times I feel they need to get rid of the spastic son. Btw, is a 6th season confirmed? Did you really think they wrote Walt's brother-in-law to be a DEA agent just for the tension throughout the seasons and that his 'realization' was to just tie some knots together? It's been obvious from the beginning that Hank's going to play a major part in the ending of Walt's meth career. You can't write a gun in on the first act and not fire it by the last act! (btw, Pinkman says "Come to Colombia, BITCH") Can't you read, you, you lunatic!? I was just saying that the toilet scene was that, lazy, shit and overdoing and over- tying knots. The whole Mel Gibson feeling wasn't necessary. Not calling you a Mel Gibson, but Hanks is just a good cop, that whole intuitive Sherlock sense shown in the toilet was just a bit un- necessary, IMO. Of course I know there's gonna be an inevitable show down, a shoot out (btw, was it it that the only out thing is when shootings occur? dance off, game off, eat off but shoot out? ) If you missed it above I again clarify that Walt JR needs writing out soon, you know in season 2 or so. Hank is a boss.

fantastic episode really like the way walt is taking influences from his kills - the way he tried to talk down lydia with corporate blandities (have an A-1 day!) in the car wash was pure gus fring. the very deliberate placing of the towel under his knees prior to being sick, like gus did when he poisoned everyone , was a nice touch too

I met a traveller from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desart. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed: And on the pedestal these words appear: "My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.
"Well, they're here. The end times, kid."

Just started watching this last week, into season 2 now. Its addictive as fuck, you feel like you have to watch each episode one after the other. Great program, I can tell this is going to go high on my list, I haven't enjoyed a tv show this much in absolute years.

One of my friend told me the other day he "just can't get into (BrBa), the episodes are too long". I am going to kill him if he says that again.

Never watched the sopranos, but my ranking at this point is still Mad Men in the lead, breaking bad 2nd (which may flip-flop depending on how each show ends) and the wire in a distant 3rd.

For me it's definitely Breaking Bad first, then Sopranos, then The Wire and then Mad Men.
