Production wise & so on it sounds incredible. Must admit though this is a million miles away from my type of music, to me it sounds like chart music you'd hear on a Ministry of Sound 'Ibiza Anthems 1999!' compilation but I wish you all the success with your new project.
Suicide In Stockholm forever. I still listen to The Wheel & Full Frontal Nudity from time to time, huge tunes.

i think it's because of the vocals, they're just some random ones from some sample cd, they always tend to veer on the cheesy side. i'll probably replace them when i can get someone to sing them.
i'm working on a new version of full frontal nudity, it's going to be dark and huge

Reminds me a bit of this Is that a abd thing or a good thing for you Babu? yeah the disco production tricks are quite universal and in every tune. i can never get my basses sound that good though, i know the theory but

it sounds professional babu, though for me it embodies everything music shouldn't be. It's just a generic loop over a loop over another loop topped with this awful vocal line, none of which "really" played -- how does this qualify you as a musician?!
So what's to like about this kind of music? It's not personal in any way. What's the difference between your "in the works song", an award winning Daft Punk single and a sequence of random samples put together by a machine itself through a shuffling procedure?! That's the kind of stuff people listen in Ibiza when they are so stoned they can't discern their hands from their feet, let alone a real song from a fart.
I think some of the disco tricks and your love for electronics can be applied to a proper song with far better results -- Bjork has done it successfully, so why don't you come up with a real song with a real melody and a structure and try to apply what you know about disco to it, instead of playing Tetris with sound samples?!
That's just the way I see it babs -- good luck with everything you want to do though.

Its sounds like a standard early 00's chart dance tune. Professionally done but uninspired.

I should have said it's shit in a very subtle way and leave the rest to your imagination -- just shove your scooter up your arse eh Doesn't feel like real music, I confirm that. It gives you nothing and goes nowhere. It's emotionless. Plus the fact that house music appeals mainly to people who don't know a flying fuck about music (or people who tend to over-intellectualize everything about music, but that's another story) is reason enough for me to hold my doubts.

yeah shenandoah, i like you, but you've had a mare here. just accept it's a genre you don't get. it wasn't really my thing before but i have a few friends who are well into it and once you start appreciating what they like about it and go on a few nights out where everyone is vibing off it, then it becomes awful hard to be snobby about it.
this "real music" thing is utter bullshit

Yep, it's true. Of course it is a genre. A terrible one, but a genre nonetheless.

meh, I might be making a faux pass, but I don't feel the urge to change my opinion just because something is widely accepted in a different way. Besides, I already said it is just the way I see it.
as for the opinions, allow me to say that yours are as bullshit as mine, unless someone cares to elaborate what's there to like about house music and we all can come up with better conclusions. I'm not aiming for total objectiveness but I don't like to accept things just because I'm supposed to.

no one is asking you to accept anything except that slating an entire genre of music is more than a bit weird.
