Well if they were such a great band they wouldn't be coming up with such mundane, middle of the road shit as they had on this record were they. For a proper band, see Crazy horse. I am, in three weeks.

it's boring, generic and could be any chancer if the album was made by an unknown people wouldn't give it a second listen don't get this sounds to me like a standard Dylan's record, as good or as bad as we've seen in the last decade from him. If someone has liked Modern Times or Together Through Life, this isn't that much different is it? I'm not trying to defend the record (which I admit, I haven't listened to enough). Just trying to understand if you were expecting someone like Neil Young - who shifts gear with every album he makes or you already knew that Dylan has been doing this kind of stuff for more than 10 years now - and talking about genericity, some of the stuff on this album is far more extravagant than what was on the previous records...
