Ended up going to the gig on the Friday night, was bored in the house and got a ticket for £20.
They played way too many new songs in a row. The crowd was going to the bar in droves. Slightly different set to the broadcast, and different order (unless they broadcast it in the wrong order)
I watched it on tv and it was fucking shite. God knows why they would play nearly an hour straight of shitty new stuff. When I went to Cardiff about 10 years ago they were played absolutely everywhere. I can imagine the disappointment and rage in so many lads in their 40s wanting to have a sing song and some rough and tumble whilst they played another boring shitty new song.
What was with the constant choreographed walking down the catwalk as well? The guitarist looked delighted when it was finally his turn.
Everything is choreographed... Kelly literally says the same things in between songs, in the exact same way, tells the same stories (He's done this since the JEEP days though) Everything is pre planned. You only realize this when you see them more than once on the same tour
