I don't for one second understand why a group of people who could probably spunk away a couple of million quid a year for the rest of their lives without earning another penny would feel the need to do that,

I supose they are surrounded by hundreds of parasites who need to be fed. And the truth is if they come close enough I will pay it.

I see them in '06, my mates bird got us some kind of discount through her work though I think it was only 15%, anyway, it was just under 50 quid which I thought was fair. Seats were far back but it was well worth it. Charlatans supported too.

I'd have probably gone if it was something silly like £130 for a decent ticket but £400 is just mad. I think it's pretty much banged on they're going to doing Glastonbury so people will at least be able to see them for Eavis' ever so slightly less extortionate fees.

I told my lass id buy her ticket aswell. Fuck that. £800 for 2 decent ticket. Im not paying those prices and the £106 ticket will be a shit seat. 31 quid booking fee, it takes the piss.

Can you imagine the hype and excitement if a young band released this? It pisses on everyone and they are pensioners. It's certainly better than anything on that bland piece of shit Bob Dylan released this year. How dare you, sir.

£400 quid is definitely fair. If a band like beady eye can charge £40 quid a ticket the stones should be doing £1k a seat minimum.

Fucks sake, that's absurd. Anyone who pays those prices is a total chump.

Pretty glad I saw them when I did in 1998. I think the ticket was £28. Not that I paid for it, I was 12 at the time

I paid about $100 (65 pounds or so) to see them in 2005, and our seats were about 10 feet away from where the moving stage thing stopped in the middle of the field. They played satisfaction right in front of me. I was...(groans)....satisfied.

Sounds like the mix on the itunes single and the youtube track are different. The itunes one is missing the intro and the thudding drums. FFS.

£31 booking fee? No way would I pay that sort of money, I wouldnt even pay the £106 or whatever it is if it was at the front. Hopinh they do Glastonbury but it does make you wonder if they will with the sort of money they want for playing. Eavis won't make them a special case, he'll only offer them the top scale of what he pays for the artists he wants most and it'll be nowhere near what they would get elsewhere. It is true they would make up loads of money from the exposure on BBC but from what you read Jagger isnt interested in potential earnings afterwards, they want their big pay day in one lump. They might make a special case for Glastonbury as a one off since it'll be one of their last ever gigs and their first time there but im not sure. They could get a couple of millions pound from another festival and still get the tv exposure if they want it, although not as much.

It would be funny if they rolled up at V next year

Well realistically there is only a few they can do and I can't see them doing IOW again since they played there a few years back. Think Reading is out of the questions with the type of crowd you get there, and I can't see the pissed up Scots wanting them at TITP either from what i've seen/read/experienced there, loads of their crowd seem happy with The Killers, KOL etc on a loop every few years. Financially V would probably be their biggest pay day but fucking hell it would be horrific if they played there
