New Black Angels is pretty good.
Really didn't bother much with 'Directions...' and didn't listen to 'Phosphene Dream' once. Suppose I should go back and visit those albums.

Had a few listens, its OK, I like it more than their last couple but I think I've come to the conclusion that I don't really care about them minus the great first album. I don't think I'd bother again

The new Neon Neon album is AMAZING. The chrouses alone are too die for. Easily the equal of the debut for me.
The new British Sea Power is alright, just as good as Valhalla Dancefloor, but that's not saying much. There's no real stand out tracks, nothing the equal of Zeus anyway.

Yeah, the new Neon Neon is indeed fantastic. I love Gruff so fucking much. What's your favourite track on it, C_r_m?
Will spend some time with BSP this morning; really look forward to it. I was one of the people who LOVED Valhalla Dancefloor so that's good news to me.
