I'm now thinking it could of been Lukebox or Fuzzy Dunlop. SOMEBODY SAW REEF AND SOMEBODY LIKED IT I did see Reef at my university ball back in 2001, would have sworn I'd never mentioned it on here though! It was alright as I remember so maybe it was me. The rest of the line up was Hot Chocolate (with someone other than Errol Brown singing), a Steps cover band and Sash, big times ;D

Shaking The Habitual by the Knife is wondrously good. A tad self indulgent in parts, but i don't know if I see that as much of a bad thing nowadays. For the most part it just shook the fucking shit out of me, amazing piece of work. this year is really clicking into gear, musically. That fucking beat in Full Of Fire

new Kurt Vile is pleasant Pfff I don't know, I'm not fond of some of its suposed strengths. Many tracks go on and on forever without a particular reason, it all results a bit blurred. I prefer when he goes out of his comfort zone like on Shame Chamber or the pseudo electronic start of KV Crimes.

Looking foward to the new Cronin LP, the last one was great.
Savages has leaked, been impressed with what I've heard so far by them. the debut from public Service Broadcasting is worth looking into as well.

It's leaked?
Gonna spend some time with the Savages album this coming lunch time. Listened to the first 2 tracks this morning and it didn't sound too bad so quite looking forward to it tbh.

Was surprised how poppy it was. I preferred the rougher/louder sound of his debut.

Was surprised how poppy it was. I preferred the rougher/louder sound of his debut. thought you might i think it's much more complete- expanded the ideas from the first album (which was quite poppy too)....i think the production and writing are terrific

It starts really nicely but to the end I got a little bored, good record though.
Damon said they might record another album btw.
