That was brilliant. The George Osbourne ballsack/tartar sauce line was incredible

That's true, you struggle to think anyone as slow witted as Jez would actually come out with something like that

Anyone notice Gerrard giving Mark 'the broom' as he crawled through the fence in the last ep? Lovely call back to Series 2 (?) with the Mark, Sophie, Jeff triangle ("Fuck off Jeff, I'm giving you the broom Jeff!"). I love subtle little bits like that, gives another layer to the show, like Arrested Development before it got silly. Bain and Armstrong definitely cracked out the old DVDs before this series.

Series 7 was just wonderful tbh. Not a duff moment for me. Going to start over with Series 1 tonight and watch them all through again.

They had that in Series 6 too - when Mark apprehended the burglar and the youths nicked off with the TV, one of them shouted "fuck off cleanshirt" and he was the same actor as one of the guys in the first episode of the first series.

Any word on when series 8 will be airing? not for another year. David Mitchell is currently undergoing a number of delicate operations to take his head out of his arse.

Any word on when series 8 will be airing? "Peep Show has started production on its upcoming eighth series. Robert Webb - who plays Jeremy Usbourne in the Channel 4 sitcom alongside David Mitchell - confirmed on Twitter that he has filmed his first scenes for the latest run. "Just did first half of first scene of Peep Show series 8. Basically feel I was put on this good Earth to play Jeremy Usbourne," he tweeted. Webb stated that the new series is likely to air later this year before Christmas. "7 week shoot plus a bit of editing - probably out in the Autumn.""

The last series was so good, kind of like the last series of Curb in that it really surpassed expectations, even though I'd been expecting it to be pretty good. New Thick of It AND Peep Show this autumn then, should be ace.
