Bob, Little James came out 13 years ago. Most of us were 15-20 apart from Yatesy who by my estimate would have been 28. We were fresh off the sex, drugs and ROCK AND ROLL of Be Here Now and by god we wanted more. Little James with it's delicate soulful touches simply did not connect with most. 13 years down the line people have relationships, kids and pets. Even the most hardened Little James hater is in a place in life where they can appreciate the songs rich narrative. You're a father yourself, I know you know that I know that you know what I mean. It doesn't make you a bad man to change opinion I've always liked Little James btw and was annoyed it was dismissed for a few lyrics and simple couplets. christ on a bike what is this tosh.

Cheers guy. I'm a working class brute of a man. It's not easy for me to open up but seeing these replies makes me think I should do it more often. It means a lot

christ on a bike what is this tosh. I guess it's a post that only those that aren't in exactly the same place as they were 10+ years ago can understand...

Hey Will there is no need for that, Murphy will one day understand the power of Little James and be a better man for it. Murphy will see the light

Brilliant post Spurs' left back, and so true. I've also decided that the opening three tracks are the best opening trio to ANY Oasis album. My sincere apologies to Rock n Roll Star, Shakermaker and Live Forever. ;D ;D ;D That's a bold statement, and I'm still on the fence about it.

Shouldn't a proper rock star should also suffer from cirrhosis and syphilis?
