So do we rate the new one then, 'This is Happening'?
He's coming here in a few months time, i'm going to go even though i've never been a massive fan, should be rocking live.
Quite like Drink Yrself Clean and Drunk Girls, haven't really given the rest of the album much time though.
Remember him being quite popular on here in the past...

This Is Happening is a good record - I listened to it loads when it first came out.
It isn't a patch on Sound of Silver but some great poppier sounds and Dance Yrself Clean is a beast

Theyre playing a double bill with Hot Chip in Manchester, I will be in attendance with popular ex forum member Stocky.

This Is Happening is pretty good. I have seen him only once a couple of months ago and it was worth it. It was kind of slow at the beginning but it got stronger, ending up with New York I love you.

I like it, is my least favourite of the three records he's put out but that just speaks volumes of the first two. Big live band, really great set at glastonbury.

Sound of Silver is his best album in my opinion. There is nothing better than All My Friends, Someone Great and New York I love you, the whole album is just great.

just blasting this for the first time and it sounds verry verry good. he's such a studiogeek that it's fun to hear these songs in a more raw form. if it weren't for drunk girls there'd be only kick ass songs on this too, so can't complain

of course their live sound is amongst the best i've ever heard so this is a good "live-album" without the annoying cheering and clapping.
i'd grade this A+
