More some weird pumping motion If that doesn't get the blood pumping then nothing will. Fuck it, I'm going to download it and watch it tonight. Friday night has just become ninja night here. Good to see thereĀ“s more true connoiseurs of film around here I watched the movie more than 20 times I believe. Unfortunately you guys will never truly experience the greatness of the dubbed german version, its so ridiculously bad, it takes the movie to a whole different level THe original is still a masterpiece, no doubt about that There is an extended version DVD floating around, with some additional scenes,.. for the hardcore fans.. BTW, Kent Lipham, who played Scott, the fattie, died a couple of years ago, R.I.P. Scott The movie is full of little titbits, that you discover over time lol, microphones on screen, strange facial expressions of background characters, "pre-ripped" punching bags, the "sound effects", the characters (dean shooting star ramsey) or the obvious stuntman in some scenes doing the more challenging karate scenes for Jason "punK" Stillwelll...oh and not to forget van Damme as Ivan Krashinski You hear that, punk? She knows how's the best!

Underrated film 1. Casino - The grandest Greek tragedy of them all. The world is so alluring, to see it slowly unravel under the strain of supercharged gangland ego, lust and greed is a thing of beauty. 2. The Apartment - A brilliantly judged rom-com featuring a suicide attempt which is handled as deftly as you like. A neat, tightly packed, perfect little bundle of a film. 3. Reservoir Dogs - Sublimely crafted characters and exchanges, it's a unique world you just keep wanting to go back to. 4. The Arbor - Devastating, brilliant dramatised documentary with actors lip-syncing to real testimony. 5. Aliens - Extended edition. One of the most complete 'movie' movies I've ever seen, just total value for fucking money. 6. Before Sunset - Gorgeous romance with an ending so perfect the mere fact that a sequel even exists makes me a little dizzy with fear. 7. Sin City - I didn't go to the cinema much before I saw Sin City. What a grimy, eye-opening, heart-pounding, all-consuming experience it was And that was just the blowjob from the usher! 8. There's Something About Mary - Partly a nostalgia pick, but it just makes me so happy when I catch a random 20 minutes of it on the telly, consistently pacey, polished and funny 9. The Departed - Scorsese could make a crime film that appeals to me in his sleep I think. The story, the look, the acting, Verma Farmiga's legs. All of it. 'YOU WANNA CHOP ME UP AND FEED ME TO THE POOR?' 10. Anchorman - I try so hard not be a tedious Anchorman-quotathon cunt, and for the most part succeed, but everything about this film is so innately funny to me I can't judge those grinning Topman fuckheads too harshly I flouted the rules of the thread with some of them, but I just wanted to work out and see my actual 10 all written out in front of me, soz. Duplicates should be replaced with random films from the Fast & Furious franchise.

This was really hard, I think my original top ten was taken except for maybe my first three.
1. bottle rocket - Wes Anderson's first, and maybe my favorite. Such great dialogue. A very sentimental pick for me.
2. unforgiven - Speaks for itself. Cowboys, guns, bad guys and badder guys. Clint's speach at the end is the pinnacle of badassery.
3. dark days - A great documentary about the people who inhabited the new york city subway tunnels. Marc Singer, who made it, lived in the tunnels with his subjects, and even had their help shooting it. Shot on film, which is an awesome feat, and music by DJ Shadow.
4. raging bull - Nothing really needs to be said.
5. wonder boys - Michael Douglas, Frances McDormand, Robert Downey Jr, and Tobey Maguire put on a show. A huge fail in the box office, but a great movie. Well shot, well acted, good soundtrack and an engaging story.
6. a life less ordinary - MacGreggor. Delroy Lindo. Danny Boyle. Round Are Way.
7. ong bak - Thai ballet of violence. Surprisingly good story, and even a few laughs to be had! Tony Jaa is fun to watch.
8. the ghost and the darkness - Two man-eating lions terrorize a workers on a railroad being built in Uganda. Michael Douglas comes in to throw down with them. I forgot about this movie until I started really racking my brain for movies I dug growing up. I'm going to rewatch this, because I remember loving it!
9. the year of the yao - documentary about Yao Ming's first season in the NBA, the culture change he experienced and the friendship he forged with his translator.
10. team america - don't know why I loved this as much as I did.
Honorable Mention -
screwed - 13% on Rotten Tomatoes. Norm Macdonald and Dave Chapelle being Norm Macdonald and Dave Chapelle.
