yeah,by the usual suspects at least.Beady Eye seem to be bolder when it comes to production, which is a very good thing. on the other hand, it says a lot that the best part of the song is the end, when all that is left are the instrumentals and the voice-over. Edit:Sorry my english hasn't improved You're a proper drain.

So many 'Where's the chorus?' pricks around. Indeed, terribly redundant opinion.

It's decent. Doesn't grab me by the baws on first listen, but it sounds lean and mean and makes me even more excited to hear the album.

Thing is it would get massively slated if it was a Noel-penned song. Don't be so ridiculous. If Noel had the balls to release a tune like this everybody would have nothing but praise, but he doesn't ;D This is as adventurous as AKA What a Life (which is not much at all), obviously it's just a matter of double standards. But yeah, this sounds good even in a shit rip, hope the album is fresh and full of little nice production details.

not surprisngly it does for you mr david.
I like it very much, will work nicely as an opener,..... I dont necessarily see a need for a CHORUS, just saying they couldve added some "break" in the middle of it, some twist, oh well, the production is very promising sign for the alboom

It's amazing The last minute was a total shock but it's fucking great. A proper, louder rip and it's going to blow your mind.

I'd argue not doing so is moving up a level. Let's just hope you didn't want 'shout it out for me' sang on loop

Don't worry guys, just wait for the non-radio edit and you'll finally get to hear the chorus. Even your dad might like it then.

Is This It?
The sound isn't groundbreaking by any means, but for Beady Eye its a sea change. They are no longer the derivative post Noel mess that made up a good portion of their debut. Instead they sound like a band being pushed kicking and screaming into the 21-century. Despite this something is missing. There are moments where it sounds forced-from the tacky sample that dominates the outro to the Kasabian aping intro, but thats not the main problem. The magic or IT FACT is its main undoing.
Oasis classics were backed by the sound of nostalgia, while Radiohead best work pushed the band and its listeners both sonically and emotionally. Beady Eye bring none of these facets to the table. Instead we have the sound of men slightly confused about where they stand in this market at this time. As Ray Davies once said: I hope tomorrow we'll find better things.
6.2/10

Not feeling it either. All I hear are trumpets, can't decipher what's going on behind it.

I was slightly underwhelmed after the first 30 seconds but it grows into a massive tune and and just gets bigger with each listen. THE FUTURE GETS WRITTEN TODAY
