Another day in the life of Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher's neighbour has claimed he had to complain to the council after the Beady Eye frontman was playing his own music too loudly.

The classical music critic Michael White has written a blog for The Telegraph in which he reveals how paparazzi have been waiting outside Gallagher's TCOTU home since allegations about the singer's private life emerged last weekend – including claims that he impregnated a reporter after cheating on his wife with her in 2010 and reports that a female member of staff at Gallagher's management company is no longer working for the firm after she grew too close to the singer.

"I happen to live more or less next door to Liam Gallagher. You may have heard of him: he’s in the news from time to time, and never more than now – which means the road where we both live has been staked out for days on end by doorstep journos," he writes. "I don’t know who I feel most sorry for here. Gallagher has never been what you could call a friendly neighbour: we don’t borrow cups of sugar. And in all the years he’s lived next door he’s never deigned to say hello. When he moved in I dropped a note of welcome (I’m the street rep for the local residents association). No reply. I guess he’s just not the engaging type. It can’t have helped when I was one of several neighbours who complained to Camden Council about him playing music, loudly, in his tiny garden. It was apparently his own music, which made it tacky as well as annoying."

However, the piece goes onto add that since then, Gallagher has done little to ruffle the feathers of local residents. "But to give him his due, the noise did stop. Since then there’s been nothing to complain about."
