Of course, the rumours of a movie based on the BDO continue to circulate.

Have I been approached? Yes, many times. All the main faces have been and many are signed up on decent contracts. Think a call handlers annual wage with added perks.

A bittersweet screenplay has been written. Beginning with that horrible fat oik Phil Taylor jumping ship and the emergency of the PDC. The media frenzy that come with those chumps is perfectly juxtaposed with peak BDO. The actual superior product. Better darts, better laughs, better lads. Barney, Hankey, John Boy, Wolfie, Miserable Merv King, Andy Pandy. The list goes on and on.

The movie of course ends with Barney also jumping ship and the narrative that you cannot beat money and greed from Sky and the Hearns. It happened again. Pir best player left and the sadness that brought. There is a proposed Easter egg after the credits making a mockery of Barney's tattooed hairline and underlining the message in the film. You may have won the war but you are all absolute bellends.

Expect laughs and expert tears if it ever gets made.

Geoff Bell aka Tommy Hatcher from Green Street has a new film called ‘Poisoned Arrows’ coming out in 2022. Going by the clips posted on his Instagram the darts scenes were filmed at Lakeside. Bobby George and Ray Stubbs appear to have cameo roles.

adrian lewis & peter wright got a bit rowdy.

We all know about Adrian Lewis and his temper down the BDO.

He liked to come down a few years ago and throw his considerable weight around. The lads saw him as a harmless twerp and unfortunately he quickly overstepped the mark. He thought he was invincible smelling of Lynx Dark Temptation and with his hair covered in Enliven hair gel.

He famously told Wolfie that he threw darts like, and I quote, ‘a spastic’. Wolfie had been training for a charity MMA bout with Martin Offiah. He took Adrian down with a single leg, took half guard then pulled him into an arm bar. Adrian had no idea Wolfie was primed and ready and was throwing bombs like a pub drunk at closing time. Silly boy.

Adrian told the BDO lads that he only tapped because there was a 1% chance his throwing arm could become compromised and he didn't want to risk millions in future prize money. The reality was Adrian being escorted out of the Lakeside in fits of tears whilst Tony Eccles playfully kicked him up the arse.

We haven’t seen the big dope since but I’m sure he will be back.
