How fucking good is this record? Admittedly it's taken a while to grow on me, and it's still got nothing on Alligator or Boxer but I'm beginning to love it. Criticisms: Terrible Love still can't decide if it's a demo or the finished thing, Bloodbuzz sounds like it was written as a single, and Matt's lyrics aren't as good as the first 4 albums. Still, England must be one of the greatest things they've ever done.

'England' is the highlight of an incredible record.

Oh and i'm with Rod on this one, it's no 'Boxer' or 'Alligator' but it's still a solid 8/10 for me despite taking a while for it to grow on me.

I know music is meant to be subjective, but anyone who thinks that anything other than England is the best song on the record is factually incorrect.

'England' is good, but it can sound a bit ahem..'coldplay' at times
best track on the album is obvs Little Faith.

Conversation 16 and Little Faith are my favorites. Its a great record. My contact high with it wore off a bit ago and Ive seen them 3 times this year, but its a wonderful record, easily a top 5 of the year pick. I agree that the prior two albums are better.
