Storm Arwen is a nasty one. We are literally about 100m - 200m away from the sea so things are pretty gnarly. House and windows are shaking. Loft hatch has flew open and now cannot be closed so there's wind upstairs. Table in the garden is over and parasol is gone. Compared to some on the estate, we haven't got it that bad. I'm in a Facebook group for the estate and there are reports of smashed windows, someone's shed has been blown to bits and various people reporting water getting in and causing floods in their house. One woman reckons her ceilings are on the verge of collapse.

Crazy times.

Been out the front just now and we've lost tiles off the roof also.

That fucking Arwen storm ! I'll never learn. Everytime I want to go to Scotland something of that kind happens. Except I never managed to reach Glasgow. I was in Liverpool when the storm hit the country. I was drunk, I didn't realise it was a big one

Suppose to be 110 - 120 km/h here tomorrow.

I expect the roof is coming off.

Hold on tight guys. Just wrapped some elastic bands around the garden gate that has been hanging on for dear life the past about six years.

A big tree has just been uprooted outside my house. Can't leave the house now (not that I was going to anyway)
