93 would be 21 years ago, no? Otherwise In Utero & Come on Feel The Lemonheads would definitely make my list.
I kept trying to do this list & I can't really. I find it hard to rank newish (less than say 5 years old) up against something I've been listening to for a long time. I think logically you need to have a certain amount of years pass to know if something is really that great. I've done a 30, in no real order as I'm too pussy to rank Goat or Josh T. Pearson up against something I've been listening to & enjoying for a long time.
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (1994) Oasis - Definitely Maybe (1994) Smudge - Manilow (1994) Genius/GZA - Liquid Swords (1995) The Verve - A Northern Soul (1995) Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - The Boatman's Call (1997) Super Furry Animals - Radiator (1997) Primal Scream - Vanishing Point (1997) The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin (1999) Super Furry Animals - Guerrilla (1999) Primal Scream - Xtrmntr (2000) Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker (2000) Doves - Lost Souls (2000) The Strokes - Is This It (2001) Super Furry Animals - Rings Around the World (2001) The Streets - Original Pirate Material (2002) British Sea Power - The Decline of British Sea Power (2003) The Coral - The Coral (2002) Shack - ...Here's Tom With the Weather (2003) Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Abattoir Blues (2004) The Go! Team - Thunder, Lightning, Strike (2004) Morrissey - You Are the Quarry (2004) Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Howl (2005) Eels - Blinking Lights and Other Revelations (2005) Dustin's Bar Mitzvah - Dial M for Mitzvah (2005) LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver (2007) The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - The Pains of Being Pure at Heart (2009) Eels - End Times (2010) Josh T Pearson - Last of the Country Gentlemen (2011) Goat - World Music (2012)

i've just realised i didn't even consider the coral- not sure how that happened As time goes on I'm beginning to realise just how great their debut is. The mixture of different influences moulded effortlessly into perfect pop nuggets, it's pretty much a perfect record start to finish for me. I really liked it when it was released, but I thought most their early records were of similar quality, really good but not great, but as time has moved on its become clear how their debut dwarfs anything else they've ever attempted.

Jamie, get a rate your music account and you'll never forget a single album on these type of lists ever again! I don't even know what that is! I feel like I'm missing something important now. Am currently in purgatory (sat outside dressing room in oxford circus h&m waiting for GF try on 73 items of clothing- none of which she'll buy), but will check it out when I get home

I miss Ana. She's just turned 39 according to her profile too, same as moi shortly. She's my lost love/soulmate I feel, in a parallel universe, where I was born in Colombia, and still have a thing for skinny goths into indie over metal. Stay cool Ana.

Actually her third to last post mentions she drinks load of coffee - fuck that, Yorkshire tea leaves all the way. Dumped.
