Too bad about George Clooney, an actor whose work I hate without a passion, and Sandra Bullock (is she even an actress?). Was supposed to see it a while ago but my friend bailed out last minute. Can't wait for the visuals, but if only two other people had the main roles...

excellent year for film and music.
This movie is eerie similar to Ray Bradbury's shortstory "Kaleidoscope" if anyone has ever read that.

Really wished it would've ended differently.
The last half of the movie is actually Sandra Bullock's hallucination before she dies from lack of oxygen.

I thought the trailer looked useless but so many people have said that this is THE 3D film to see so I'll give it one last chance.

the bfi imax is awesome, you should definitely do it. seeing this on friday, can't wait tbh.
trailers are often total bs because they're normally made by agencies that have got nothing to do with the making of the film itself. always best to take them with a pinch of salt.

It's not weird at all. Hate is a strong word, but we all have actors that we like and some we like less. I've never seen a film with either Sandra Bullock or George Clooney that I like, they're both actors I do not rate at all. Doesn't mean they can't play a good role in Gravity, or they're bad actors. All it says that I would've been way more excited if the cast was different.

fair do's, i just thought clooney was a bit of a weird one as I can't think of any of his films that i dislike really. i even enjoy batman & robin for me, he seems to have a really solid back catalogue. sandra bullock is a different story but i'm sure she's at least serviceable in gravity

I've got zero interest in seeing anything at the IMAX, I'm only going to see Gravity in 3D due to everybody going mad over it. Usually I go out of my way to make sure I see a 2D screening of anything I want to see. As of now, anything I've seen in 3D has just been a cheap gimmick & added nothing to my viewing experience.

tbh, 3D is only a tiny part of what the imax experience is all about. it's mainly about seeing something on the biggest screen possible (blah blah sydney fuck off abs) with incredible sound. well worth doing at least once, imo.

I'm not sold on the idea at all. The thought of paying £20 quid to see a film & booking ages in advance I find kind outrageous. Also, most cinema screens are about 9 metres in size, seeing a film on one double the size (or even 10 times the size) would make no difference to me. Also, isn't it like 500 capacity? There is nothing worse than pricks that talk or play with their phones throughout a film so the bigger the capacity the more higher the chance of somebody being a complete cock & ruining it for me.
