First time I've been, can definitely see why it's so popular. Stellar line up aside, just a really well run festival with some great stages to watch music. Will definitely be back repeatedly

We saw loads of the same bands. Did you see Ty Segall at the festival or at the Sunday night after party thing at the Sala Apollo? We saw them in a dirty sweaty venue in Barcelona on the Sunday night it was fantastic.

Ty in Apolo was, for lack of a beter word, mental. What a gig!

Yeah was the perfect venue for them. UK venues seem way too sanitised compared to somewhere like the Apolo in Barca.

Did you notice any of disturbances at the city btw? There were lots of confrontations between some squaters and police, but were mostly concentrated at a neighboorhood and happened at night coinciding with the shows.

Top 5:
Chrome - never heard of them, but a perfect match between APTBS and the Stooges. Terrific bunch of noise.
Slowdive - emotional stuff. Beautiful. What a sympathetic band as well.
Ty Segall - the gig in Apolo. Rock & roll \m/
The Ex - the gig at Barts on the Wednesday. Dutch band I hadn't heard of. Sort of concrete post punk grooves, not unlike Doc at the Radar Beefheart. Great stuff that I really enjoyed.
edit: space bar apparantly posts
number 5: Boogarins at Vice. Saw them later in the park as well. What a fun psych pop band. Great fun.

Didn't make it the apolo but most of my mates did- had been drinking in the park since midday and had early flight on the Monday. Saw him on the pitchfork stage though.
He might be my favourite live artist at the moment, especially when Mikal Cronin plays with him.

Do you know how many tickets can one person buy on that presale thing?

I am not sure but I was under the impression that it's restricted to one per person?

I didn't try finally, my cousin has a wedding that day and didn't feel like buying it. Maybe I'll end paying the full prize for it.

Managed to get one after about an hour and a half, saw they're selling another batch at 250 euro just after that. Even at that price it's worth it imo. Anyway, is your cousin hot?
