But surely the same applies for the potentially promoted teams? I'm obviously not privvy to their finances but I'd expect leeds are paying a bit to bielsa etc....rolled the dice and gambled on promotion.
Potentially in the past you could have paid off some teams with "premier league money" and leeds and west brom might have accepted knowing the money would help to finance another promotion surge BUT obviously everyone in football is skint right now, including the governing bodies.
Suppose all they can do is vote and what is is what is.

Interesting what that means for the ucl....I didn't think they'd finish it...but 2 1/4 final teams have just dropped out IF they somehow manage it

BREAKING: German government is set to allow the Bundesliga to resume matches from May 15, under strict conditions without fans in the stadium. The agreement has already been reached, according to Reuters sources.
