Our manager deciced to change our system for the first time in 2 years... yesterday. Players were quite lost, it was noticeable. I can understand it missing Kondogbia and Coquelin but it was a disaster

awful. rip it up and start again. no more talk of signing £50m+ players. spend all the £40m we have and whatever else we can raise on the defence. shift out ozil, mustafi, aubameyang (love him, but it's the last season i think we can get real good money for him), xhaka, mkhitaryan, kolosinac etc. forget about europe in any way, shape or form. give the raft of talented young midfielders/forwards we have a chance, playing with torreira, guendouzi, lacaz (if he doesn't go, which i wouldn't blame if he did). keep emery for another 2 years.
we'll drop further for a while but we'll start forging some character in adversity, which we fucking have none of and haven't had for a decade at least.
none of ^ will happen because kroenke is a fucking vulture capitalist cuntbag and i hope he dies.

I don't have the words. This is a team ranked 70th in the 2018/19 UEFA club rankings, we're ranked 391st.
Going forward they were frightening at times, our lads were chasing shadows for long periods, they hit the post twice and we rode our luck. We'd been told before the game they were poor at the back, and weak when it came to defending set pieces but you need to have the ball to be able to attack and we couldn't get it. In the end what we were told turned out to be true, 2 goals from set pieces and the third was a piece of magic from Shayne Lavery.
Their injury time penalty will probably mean we're going out because I don't see us keeping a clean sheet over there and 1-0 does them, HOWEVER I fancy us to score out there if we can get a set piece.
I'm still buzzing and hardly slept a wink last night. Proud as punch.

The day has arrived. I've followed Linfield home and away for 30 years, clocked up 10's of thousands of miles. I've followed them to far off place like Minsk and Loughgall and this is without doubt the biggest game in the clubs history. I hardly slept a wink last night. I'll probably cry later, it'll be tears of joy or utter devastation.
When you support a Manchester United or a Liverpool, an Arsenal or Chelsea it'll mean nothing to you. In fact the group stages of the Europa League is seen by many of those clubs as an annoyance but for a club like mine it's dreamland. A club ranked 391st in the UEFA club rankings in the Europa League group stages would be something else and a massive fuck you to UEFA who have done whatever they can to shit on clubs like mine, who have made it near impossible to get through a round never mind get to where we find ourselves.
Just one more push Blues.
