his honesty is life. i so wish he'd somehow be able to translate that and his wit into lyrics and songs, because that would be fantastic. alas, he wont.

Yeah, honest and cool. But you know the stick Noel would get for collaborating with Adele's songwriter. Anyway, looking forward to it.

Have to say that interview makes me look forward to his solo record more. I'm glad he's brought in collaborators from outside the Noel bubble. Fingers crossed.

^^^ This. Even if all the collaborators are modern pop writers/producers, it's further outside his comfort zone than Dwayne's ever got in his solo career. Can't wait to see how the Oasis section react to him no longer being a "real musician who writes his own fookin' tunes".

Adele's songwriter has written Liam's album? The guy is desperate for success and money. He's not elvis.
He can't write a successful or good album on his own.
As a has been, If this album blows, he's dead and burried, big and nervous times.

The Adele producer is Greg Kurstin. He worked with Beck on Morning Phase and also produced and co-wrote the last Beck single 'Dreams'

Morning Phase was produced beautifully, such a rich and warm sounding record.
Colour me intrigued.

An announcement tomorrow morning as confirmed by the man himself.
Surprise gig in Manchester touted. Hope so. What better way to stick two fingers up to the tradegy of Monday by a Manc legend announcing a homecoming gig and new single. When they talk about uniting a city, this would be proper powerful shit.

I think I got the last ticket! Kept putting in 2 and then it wouldn't have it, changed it to 1 and it went through.
Cheers to rod for the heads up or I wouldn't have known until after work

Is the song any good considering there's no comment about it?
