Doing an eddie and recovering a lost thread. What do you think of them stopping a show in Madrid after being thrown a Palestinian scarf and all the fuss that came afterwards? I think he might overreacted a bit but I gotta side with him on this matter tbh, some people are trying to cancel them for it, dunno. The whole "you're supposed to be a political band!" nonsense they've been attacked with on twitter is pathetic, but at the same time not surprising. I think he basically thought he'd rather not get involved in this matter due to perhaps not having a great understanding of the situation or knowing he'd be attacked by different sides for whatever stance he took. He definitely could have handled the gig thing a bit better but of course Twitter can't wait to do the "I always knew they was frauds!" "no talent gobshites" stance whilst patting themselves on the back. |
