Some videos I've enjoyed this year: Tweedy - Low Key Dad and son plus lots of guests. Awwwww The New Pornographers - War On The East Coast Richard Ashcroft meets True Detective Also: "Dancehall Domine" Foxygen - How Can You Really Jagger comes out of the closet at the office. The Black Keys - Fever Preach to me, Dan, preach to me. Jack White - Lazaretto King of the aesthetic. The pick, the suit, the glass, the skull, the bull, the shadow... Visually fantastic. Also: "Would You Fight For My Love?" Dum Dum Girls - Lost Boys And Girls Club Ok, it's associated with H&M and all but still I have a soft spot for Dee Dee and her style. Damon Albarn - Heavy Seas Of Love The video is just alright, but I really like the song and as I'm not including the album in my list... Mac Demarco - Passing Out Pieces Just watch. |

i love this time of year when my end of year list has been completed. there's no pressure to listen to all the albums from the current year anymore and there's not many new releases for a couple of months either to check out. mid december until about february is just nice for listening to all my old favourites or checking out older bands. it must be how eddie murphy feels all year round.
