Oldham signed a player who killed someone, surely that's worse than what this guy's done.

Murphy, why make a thread like this & not offer your own opinion on the situation?

I only know small details of the history, but he was convicted, jailed and released. What about a second chance and all that crap? He can't even work. What if he kills himself? Some stupid girl who is a fan of a cool rapist (Mike Tyson), will be more happy?

who said he can't get a job, why does he have to be a footballer. I'd rather not have a rapist playing for everton.

I understand that no one wants a rapist playing for their team. Anyway, many football players had strong accusations of rape, and were lucky, or made some agreement with the "victim". I'm not saying he's guilty, innocent, or whatever, but all this petition reactions, and that dumb girl who loves Mike Tyson but hates rapists are a bit too much.

What if it was Messi or Ronaldo? if it was either of them in all likelihood the victim would now be rich and we'd never heard of it. There's no point debating whether he's guilty or not, that part of it's done and dusted: he's a convicted rapist. If you are I went to jail for rape we'd struggle to get a decent job when we got out, why should a footballer be any different? He's a healthy man in his 20s, more than capable of carrying bricks for £7 an hour.

You can't tell me you wouldn't have a rape-convicted Messi or Ronaldo at Everton.

Probably end up at Arsenal. They love a convict over there.

If he was a black people would be bleating about racism. Besides if you know more than what the media have told you then you'd know he didn't even rape her.

You don't care if he's guilty or not but you definitely want him to be punished for the rest of his life? Does. Not. Compute.

There's literally no difference between you and hehe. I don't believe that a comparatively wealthy footballer with access to expensive barristers is very likely to be wrongly convicted of rape.
