Not agreeing with it but it's being reported as "right wing" in the most left wing area in the country. The protests were organised by the "patriotic alternative" or whatever the fuck the ex-NF and BNP cunts are calling themselves these days. They posted loads of stuff about it and were in the area all week spreading rumours and lies about the people in the hotel all being paedophiles and rapists. The only proof anyone has is one video of one bellend trying to chat up a 15 year old with nothing to actually connect him to the hotel at all, it's all been fabricated by these far right conspiracy gobshites.
My wife is an immigration officer who has had to go the hotel in question to make arrests etc. for ongoing investigations (she's a financial investigator, not yewtree) and it sounds fucking grim in the hotel, it's split in half with one half open to guests. In the half for the asylum seekers every room has been divided into smaller rooms with partition walls.
