came out an hour and 20 minutes late, got heckled/bottled, left, refuse to come back out, waited until half the crowd had left, came back, more bottles, fucked off
what a complete loser, no consideration to the fact people have to get home after the show, i hope the rest of the tour he receives the same treatment, washed up useless cunt.

did the same at leeds/reading too, thank fuck i wasnt there to see them. apparently the reading gig was absolutely shit aswell. if you look on the setlists posted each of the session musicians in the band gets their own solo spot! and axl has started twittering that melvin benn screwed him over, that they werent on late at all, that they'd been promised they could play past curfew (this more than anything else in an obvious lie, aside from traffic control noise at night is the biggest issue that threatens any festivals licence) heres a game for everyone, lets see where axls hair starts:

What makes me laugh is the people that still defend him, 'you were going to a gnr show what did you expect?'. In their prime Axl pulled stunts like this but it wasn't every night of the tour I still wish that Paris gig would be released on DVD, probably the best example of a stadium rock show ever GNR solo parts

They've been doing that for years now. When they played Ottawa (in Canada for those of you who are geographically challenged) in 2006 I think, he didn't hit the stage (in a hockey arena) until after 11. The show ended near 1am. And then he came back earlier this year...and did the exact same thing.

The voice is still good; better still, it's good again. But the way he handles gigs is shit: lateness, endless solos... It's nothing new by the way; he already did it with the old band, even before they got big (according to Mick Wall). That's one of the reasons why Izzy left.
I love how GnR fan boys are defending him: there's no time for GnR on the tickets so you can't say he's ever late; he's late because he needs time to get ready to go onstage... Well, maybe he could start preparing for the gig a couple of hours earlier, couldn't he.

its just out of order being that late at an arena gig. you're packing as many people into each gig as you can to squeeze as much money out of them as you can, and not playing as many gigs in different cities because you expect them to travel to you, if the gig goes late and you're travelling it becomes very expensive to get home. fair enough if its just some gig on a club on a wednesday mostly for a couple of dozen scruffy types most of whom probably live a couple of miles from the venue but its bang out of order. its out of order to even play an arena gig in the first place actually.
the really embarrassing thing is that they've tried to dress up the reading debacle as them being somehow rebellious.

Has a band ever had ever had a bigger downfall? This guy has been a joke for over 10 years. The people that fill their arena's nowadays go to see the entire band, Axl, Dizzy, Stinson, Richard Fortus, and Ron Thal. No idea what the people who go look like but I'm pretty sure at least 80% are only interested in hearing Axl play the old songs & wish people like Slash & Duff were back in the band. You going on this tour Ax-man or was seeing them once enough?

I like the album mahoney, still think its really good and overblown in the best way possible. But ive seen em once, and once is enough. Anyway you heard about slash? he's filled for divorce, always thought him and perla would last forever, upon reading his book I reckon he's been banging fergie. What a legend. That's a real shame

At the first stop Aug. 27, an open-air festival in Reading, west of TCOTU, Guns N' Roses arrived an hour late and had their microphones and amplifiers cut off by organizers during their encore. clap clap
