Noel’s album is getting universal acclaim. Scary times. Haha. Even my girlfriend loves it and she hates Oasis and his previous solo records.

Noel's illuminati initiation must have been a dull affair.

To be fair the Liam stuff is pretty funny. It just seems bizarre that Noel actually has mates in a band he's in!!

I've somehow brought myself to listen to Noel's album 3 times now. Honestly, I like The Man Who Built The Moon a fair bit.
The big problem with the album, and any thing that Noel sings on, is Noel himself. His vocals are just the worst. Within the context of an Oasis album, it wasn't as noticeable, but when he's singing every fucking song it's just too much.

Pitchfork give it 7.1. Its probably the most critically acclaimed Gallagher related release this century.

I've listened to the album a good 5 times now and I have to admit I do enjoy it for the most part.
I do skip the two instrumentals, and "Be Careful What You Wish For" is proper dull, but the rest I quite like.
(It's all production though - I can't imagine most of these songs sounding any good as just vocals and acoustic guitar unlike pretty much every other song Noel's written.)

Where’s the track by track review tux? Noel is a cunt and I'm not gonna bother wasting that amount of time on something associated with that little gremlin.

It's almost endearing just how pleased he is with getting some French language on the record. Almost being the key word.
He mentions it in every interview with self regarding awe, he's bonkers.
