Shame they couldn't sack Mahrez instead. He's been a disgrace this season, at least Payet gave it a pop before he got miserable and wanted out. Mahrez signed a contract extension that made him a millionaire then just downed tools.
Can't believe they didn't let him have the return leg. It's disgusting.
He deserved to see the season out for me, even if they look like they're going down. Though the change of manager may keep them up, I think this will have done a lot of damage to Leicester City as it's created a lot of ill will from the general public, it's got to hurt them.
The stranger thing is they don't have have a replacement lined up. (MANCINI!) why would you fuck over your public image when you don't even have a plan b sorted out?
I reckon they'd be relegated first season. The standard in the SPL is as bad as it's ever been. Rangers being demoted effectively meant that there was no opposition and quality suffered badly.
It's like British politics where the labour party with Corbyn in charge are Rangers.
within a few seasons they'd have the financial clout to improve.
i still say mid table prem side.
they struggle in champs league.
but so did spurs & liverpool in recent seasons.
and most of our other sides in europa league.
Yeah, I reckon they'd probably come straight back up on the back of money made in the first season and supporter base, but their first season would be a hell of a shock to the system.
Don't worry the top four will finish as it is. All Easter eggs in one Europa League basket or summat. Would love it Spurs pipped Chelsea and would even take defeat at the last game at WHL for it to happen
