Klopp: "Who wants to be top of the table at the beginning of March?" City's league form since the beginning of March: played 8 won 8 View AttachmentRidiculous form, for the whole season off both really..but citys second 19 games (assuming they win the last 2) is won 18, lost 1. They wont - at least i think they wont - but 38 out of 38 is not out of the question next season and we could well be entering a celtic situation in the epl....as pep said they've raised the bar, you need 100 pts now to top them. The last 12 theyve won i dont even think they've been behind? Burnley kept the game alive today, but totally at the cost of any attacking intent. Amazing team.

First-world problem: watching city play 50 times a year is making watching other games/team incredibly frustrating. "Why can't you string together 40 straight passes and have 75% possession, Ottawa Fury??"

Is jags leaving? I guess Sheffield United could be an option but id be loathe to lose him if I were efc (same with baines) always room in any squad for experienced pros who know a club inside out and set a standard. Think efc are on the up tbh, no reason they can't challenge for CL next season, certainly of the team's above them there's huge question marks over United, Chelsea and Arsenal. Are Tottenham gonna spend? Lost a lot of games this season and have got lucky in that it's the worst mufc/cfc/arsenal team's in 20 years. Can klopp keep lifting lfc after near misses?

Yaya Touré has announced his retirement from playing and is set to launch a coaching career, according to his agent.
Touré’s agent Dimitri Seluk has been quoted by Russian website Sport 24 saying the 35-year-old former Ivory Coast international has made the decision after having his contract at Greek club Olympiacos terminated in December.
Selcuk said: “Yaya has decided to end his career as a champion.
“The farewell match which Manchester City gave him was, in principle, the real end of his playing career, not only in that team, but in general.
“Yaya is one of the best players in Africa and had one of the brightest careers in the history of African football, so should leave football at its peak. We talked for a long time on this topic.
“Of course every footballer wants to play as long as possible and in terms of his physical condition Yaya could do this at a sufficiently high level for another five years.”
Selcuk added: “I’m sure that two years after Yaya gets the Pro coaching license, he will head one of the serious clubs and achieve great success in the coaching field. Now he has already begun to take steps in this direction.”
I really hope some naïve up and coming player signs Seluk as his agent, since I am not ready to live without his particular brand of comedy in my life.

Ander Herrera leaving on a free, absolute pisstake from those above. Should be next captain and one of the highest paid compared to some at the club. Yet instead of tieing him down and giving him the armband, Jones and Young are handed new contracts instead and our best midfielder walks away for free. You can't blame him for wanting more given Sanchez is on 4 billion a week.
Worst season ever in terms of performances and running of the club. Add to this four rivals in European finals and the other on the eve of winning the league. Proof of everything.

Lfc fan in peace here, as an outsider looking in on herrera heres my take....bang average player in (by uniteds amazing standards) a poor era. In fairness hes not the root of any problem at united but gets massively overrated predominantly because of a bit of snidey shithouse behaviour. Reminds me a bit of lucas at lfc....No one liked him when alonso and macherano were in midfield but once they'd bailed he looked a world beater compared to Jay spearing and charlie Adam.
As an aside I do think the talk of United's death to be a tad dramatic. Poor season but United above anyone can absorb years out the CL because of commercial revenue and the allure of the club. Few decent signings and they'll be right back on it. That said solksjaer; id be suprised if hes still manager this time next year.

The fuck is that on the left of him? Harsh teems. One defeat all season but benefited with plenty of offside goals and goalkeeper clangers - with VAR probably ten points less than they got. Miles ahead of us though, I'll give them that. And you know dan's a good lad, ed is harmless, bobothy is dead, so there's only axl I'm directing this at: asoapbox.proboards.com/post/236402/thread
