After a couple of ambient/drone experimental projects I'm back with a more familiar type of Jesus Abyss record. I'd say this is closer in sound to the IN SPACE album which was a huge success thanks to the enormous success OWL ON A SKATEBOARD in Scotland. It's a mixed bag of material from electronic/dance numbers, to cinematic moments, some poetry & some Tom Waits/beefheartisms. The Jesus Abyss - Constant Failure1. Retrogression [01:46] 2. Vultures [02:29] 3. Escape From Detroit [02:38] 4. Det oväntade skildringar av Jesus [02:11] 5. Spin That Shit [02:55] 6. The Empty Glass [02:30] 7. (Don't Worry) We'll Drum It Into You Son [01:27] 8. Euthorica 03:12 9. The Moon Pig [01:26] 10. Thin White Stardust [02:48] 11. This Here Life [01:38] 12. Constant Failure [02:54]Download: www.sendspace.com/file/zs2o0uStream: yellowperilrecords.bandcamp.com/album/constant-failure

Ha, it's a fun rollercoaster. Definitely great Tom Waits vibes on Vultures then some fun dance like Spin That Shit... Might be your most complete work to date so far.

Cheers for the kind words Barny, I will be using that quote for the advert I'm taking out in Mojo magazine.
Just look how thrilled I am to be touching that sheep, who knew that innocent young boy would grow up to make something as depraved & horrific as (Don't Worry) We'll Drum It Into You Son.

I don't have a laptop at the moment (I've had to enter the streaming age FFS) but I plan to get one purely to download this. After the sheer power of Owl on a Skateboard I'll listen to anything you record.

The 30th album of my incredible career! I wanted to make an upbeat house/techno/dance type record, though there are a couple of experimental numbers thrown in too. 01: DUPed [4:38] 02: Arrogance [9:08] 03: Free Propaganda [3:45] 04: House Of Wrongons [5:40] 05: Suicidal Negotiator [8:18] 06: Cuts, Savings & Shareholders [1:30] download/stream yellowperilrecords.bandcamp.com/album/appetite-for-corruption

How did you break your ribs? Sorry I forgot to reply to this. I took up running and fell over like a complete cunt. I had my Ipod in my hand so decided instead of putting my hands out to break the fall I'd save my Ipod and come crashing down on my ribs instead. The ironic thing is the Ipod Classic which I've had for well over 10 years fucking broke a month later. My girlfriend got Eddie Argos of Art Brut to paint one of my album covers for my birthday, it arrived 4 months late but still, was pretty chuffed with it He also wrote a page long review of the record which cracked me up

much like the end of year list thread, mahoney needlessly bumps this whilst we have a bit of traffic in a desperate plea to get more people to listen to his music.
