the point I was trying to make is that Italians have stopped going to the game, actual Italians who support their local team, so we've a situation where Udinese who in the 80s briefly had the best player in the world playing for them, (Zico) now get lower crowds than some teams in the 3rd tier of english football. |

I know the point you were trying to make it just doesn't make sense, nor is it applicable to the context of the conversation. Also, Italian stadiums are in large part run down because municipalities own them rather than the club. |
