Anyone know where I can get Windows 7 for free somehow?
A couple of months ago, I got a new laptop at work. One of the IT fellas is a mate of mine and he said I could just keep the old laptop for personal use and he would just put it through the system that it was recycled for spare parts.
Anyway, I've not used it for a while and when I've booted up today, I get message saying my version of Windows is not genuine so I assume that because the laptop isn't registered to the work network, I'm no longer pulling in a Windows 7 Enterprise license.
I'm not really arsed about Windows 10, and I'm behind the times when it comes to downloading shit, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
Does it actually matter if I'm not using a genuine copy?
