To celebrate Chrissie escaping from Birmingham I've brought back a festive favourite.
How much money will I receive in Christmas tips this year? Also add gifts that you feel I will receive such as biscuits or alcohol.
Some background info, I now deliver to a different area so I've only been the postman since I think March/April so I think it will be a much lower amount than usual as most people don't know what a charming young man I am yet.
The winner receives free accommodation in Eddie's Sisters house. The offer of the signed tailgunner album is no longer available as it's up the loft rotting with my entire CD collection
Karl, I think you need to give us a very rough ball park figure of how much you received last year. It's been so long since we last played I have no idea what to guess.
to give us a little help; how much do you normally get and where are you based now?
I used to get about £150-250, I'm not expecting anything on this new one as its mostly either huge houses where people work up town, or flats where I never really see anyone.
Also to make matters worse, the postman who used to do it used to put Christmas cards through every single door that he bought from poundland and got his mrs to write in wishing them all a merry Christmas... essentially begging for a tip. I won't stoop to such levels. Infact I don't even take my earphones out to say hello to most people, just a knowing nod.

The ones that tipped shall now receive the premium service that includes a "mornin'" greeting with slight nod & perhaps even an attempt to leave parcels with a neighbour if I'm in a good mood.
Karl, are you one of these postmen who wear shorts in all weathers? There's a few in Glasgow. Could be something to do with the amount of stairs they have to climb going in and out of tenements.
