I'm not sure he's done any press since the whole Mandy Moore thing etc. I haven't listed to him in a long time but the year 2005 will always be a highlight of three of those albums dropping. |

He still has a big following, even if his fanbase has diminished somewhat. Get out on the road and do some small 200 capacity venues and start earning money again. He's got all those un-released records, just put them on bandcamp exclusively. He'd make money, no need for the backing of labels in 2021, especially when you have a name already.
But no, he's a massive cunt like Morrissey & expects to be doing huge numbers with someone else putting up the money to compensate for him being a twat. He's lost that right by being a cunt. Time to hit the road & earn a living like any other struggling artist.

Also, what happened to all of his money? Surely he must have made a decent bit in the 20+ years? I mean, he couldn't spend it all on drugs could he? As you said, it seems he's lost the plot and turned into a bigger cunt.

I've given up. I skimmed through like 2 or 3 songs and it just sounded like leftovers from the Prisoner/self titled era. He's done that 80s sound to death now. He's now saying he's gonna release another 2 records over the next month or so.
Unless he makes something where everyone is like oh shit, Ryan's made a good record again I won't bother listening. I can file him with Weezer as something that was once beautiful that I'd rather didn't exist any longer.
