my initial thoughts as i listen (updated as i go along) : outside inside - quality going through hell - just rubbish roof of your car - love it. some great ideas in it. puzzled by people - i like the concept of it, bit dull though without a blink - pretty good, drags a bit at the end blip on a screen - s'aight those that don't know - quite good, seems like a grower soldiers - fucking fantastic ;D we can never be friends - really like it ABC - interesting enough at the start, suddenly ramps up halfway through and becomes excellent OMG - fucking hell, this is amazing trying to kill m.e. - lovely stuff, with a smart finish trust me - pretty darn good lock the locks - a quite good ending track, another potential grower i feel all in all, i enjoyed it quite a bit. ;D

wow, what an interview. i love skinner, he's such an intelligent, honest chap. "I always imagined that there'd be someone who would call me out if I talked about something I didn't know about," he continues. "And I didn't know my Moët from my Pérignon. I do now, obviously. Troyes. Have you been to Troyes? That's nice. Champagne region. Very fizzy in Troyes."

Probably give this a spin tonight, been waiting a while but can't anymore! Fuck the naysayers. To me, his only 'miss' has been The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living, and even that has enough classics to give it pass marks really (Pranging Out, Momento Mori, Never Went To Church). Everything Is Borrowed is utter class, and as strong as his first two to me. Tried his hand at something different everytime as well. All this whilst still being one of the best live acts around. I'm excited and sad about Computer and Blues. Truth be told I was probably too young to get the whole Band of our Generation thing that went with Oasis. Still loved the music, but I was 8 when Definitely Maybe came out so weird to think of it that way. However, Original Pirate Material came out at the perfect time for me. Blew my mind. He'll always be the artist of my generation, at least amongst my closest mates. But, in general, I think you'd be hard-pushed to come up with a more iconic band/artist of the 00s than Skinner. He kind of summed it all up.

Don't forget that there's also the 'cyberspace and reds' mixtape out as well...which I've downloaded but not listened to as of yet. (All white stripes all the time, leek.)

Everything that leaks that I notice gets this treatment. Fucking always. I don't pay any attention to the general rating on that site, just the 'Friends Rating' which rocks.

Big decision Brad! Sometimes I sit in my chair and think hard if I should up or downgrade LP's after listening to them.

I agree with your opinion on including books, I'd have games as well. Would be interesting to see where the holy Bible would rank I give it 3 stars.

That would be huge! I'd probably read more tbh Bible gets 2 stars, mainly as the story is bullshit
