possible contender for my album of the year so far. exceeded all my expectations, fucking love it. I dig it, but I was a little disappointed with it, as my favourite tracks are some of the singles I had already heard. Still a very enjoyable record. yeah, I really like it. Wasn't really sure what to expect from a JP rec., but this one I really really liked. |

Why are people such pricks? if it's come from a shit webrip fair enough but if somebody has actually ripped a promo disc at 128 they are doing the band more harm than if they were to rip it at 320. If Elbow doesn't leak in good quality within the next few days fucking thousands of people will have 128 with most not even realising it's shit quality therefor never, ever hearing the record that they should be hearing.
Quite like the j mascis LP, gave it a go this morning. Cat's Eyes (bloke from horrors with some bird) EP is about, pretty promising look forward to the album after hearing this. Raekwon - Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang also leaked.
Vivian girls is predictably average as fuck.

I had a listen this morning. The first few tracks were brilliant & I was bang into it but it kind of went downhill for me & I was glad by the time it was over though I tend to have that opinion on alot of hiphop records.

racist  kinda agreed with this album on first listen. obviously, raekwon is massively talented but he's not the best editor in the world. all his shit seems to be sprawling and it's maybe hard to keep your interest up for the duration. some cracking tunes though, hope it grows on me |
