EWWWWWWWWWW
Raveonettes new one caught me by surprise this morning. No opinion yet but it's a big departure from their normal sound.
Art Brut is pretty much whats expected though Eddie sounds angrier than ever on some tracks then in others he almost tries to sing.

just given the new raveonettes its first spin and fucking love it. seems to have a much more sinister and darker sound to it. sure i slightly miss the big poppier numbers like last dance and blush but this is really hitting the right spot for me and ive always hoped they could make a record like this. big thumbs up.

Of the few I've really listened to, PJ Harvey, Elbow and REM are all great, Beady eye, the strokes and the streets are decent at worst, and only radiohead is ehhh...

the worst thing has happened... magiska has gone private ffs. It was the perfect place to find new releases etc..
Anybody know of any similar sites? I don't have a waffles or what.cd accounts and hotfile/megaturtle/rapidshare was the shit for getting stuff.

Steve, get yourself a damn What or Waffles acct. There is nothing better. Just leave your damn torrents open all the time and you wont have to worry about ratio.
similarly you could go on Dancing-Jesus forums. They're not the best, but they tend to always get the new releases up.
