Why are you getting wound up by the term prog? Is it because you hate pink floyd?
Anything that doesn't have a 4/4 time signature can be defined as progressive, in fact no I'm wrong, any form of modern music can be described as progressive if we compare it to music at its most primitive.
Stop being a hipster, and stop being wound up by ridiculous words.
I think the new swans album is a failed attempt at creating a modern day prog rock masterpiece.

Didn't know Lulu was at the forefront of the Prog movement.
I gave the Swans a listen based on the glowing reviews and I'll give it a second one, but it just isn't appealing to my ears
